What they do ? : Lions Calcutta Greater Vidya Mandir is an ICSE Affiliated Co-educational English Medium School located in Village Chowhati in Sonarpur – Rajpur Municipality about 15kms from South of Kolkata. The school was started in 2002 with a very small number of students since then the improvement and development is the school has never stopped. Presently the school has student strength of 2000 approx with about 300 new admissions for the academic year 2017-18 we are looking to open new session with a student strength of 2200.

The academic results of last 6 batches has been extremely good with 100% success on an average the 30% of the students scored 90% plus marks with the highest scoring 95.4%, the lowest scoring all was 70% plus. It will be significant to note that many of the students are first time learners with no real facilities available in their homes, the children had been doing well in the inter-school competitions like debate, essay writing, dance, sports, and etc. The school has applied for a up-gradation to ISC up to Class XII we hope to commence Class XI in the next academic year.
